Play in the Newport Wednesday Netball League

It was another exciting evening of action in the Newport Wednesday Netball League, as teams took to the court for Week 9. With plenty of competitive games and strong performances, the night brought some great moments of netball and friendly rivalry.

One of the closest matches of the evening saw Caught Offside take on Jump! Jump!. It was a tightly contested game throughout, with Jump! Jump! narrowly securing a 6–5 victory. Both teams showed great effort and teamwork, making it an entertaining match from start to finish. Rachel Simms from Jump! Jump! delivered a standout performance and earned the Most Valuable Player award for the week.

In another match, Court Queens put in an impressive performance against Block It Like Its Hot, claiming a 14–3 win. Court Queens showed strong attacking play and good movement across the court, finishing the game as the highest scorers in the league this week.

Irreplaceaballs also had a great game, securing a 10–2 victory over FireBallz. Their teamwork and consistent play helped them control the match and take a well-earned win.

Rounding off the evening, Goalden Girls defeated Ball Snatchers with a 10–4 result. With strong defensive work and accurate shooting, Goalden Girls put in a confident performance on the court.

With another great night of matches completed, the Newport Wednesday Netball League continues to deliver plenty of fun, competition, and great netball. As the league moves into Week 10, teams will be looking forward to more exciting games and the chance to keep building momentum.
