Newport Wednesday night netball - week 7
The evening kicked off with a clash between Caught Offside and Block It Like Its Hot. Caught Offside secured a 16-6 victory. Their precision and teamwork were commendable from both sets of teams.
In the second game, FireBallz showcased their dominance over Ball Snatchers, earning a commendable 6-2 victory. Both Teams demonstrating their strong defensive and offensive skills on the court.
The third match saw Goalden Girls emerge as winners in a nail-biting contest against Jump! Jump!. With a final score of 13-8.
However, the highlight of the evening was the final match between Irreplaceaballs and Court Queens. The Court Queens took a 20-4 victory, showcasing their ability to maintain a high scoring pace throughout the game.
In spite of the heavy loss, Irreplaceaballs had a shining star in the form of Barbara Lenkei, who was crowned the Most Valued Player of the Week. Lenkei's exceptional performance, even in the face of defeat, was a testament to her skill and commitment, earning her well-deserved recognition.
