Newport Wednesday night netball - Week 5

Goalden Girls played against Court Queens, Goalden Girls narrowly clinched an 8-6 victory. The close game had everyone on the edge of their seats as both teams showed exceptional skill and team coordination, exchanging goals right up to the final whistle.

Another nail-biting showdown was witnessed between FireBallz and Jump! Jump! The FireBallz managed a narrow win with a 9-7 score line. The determined effort from both sides made for an exhilarating match.

In another exciting game, Irreplaceaballs lived up to their name by beating Block It Like It's Hot with a 8-2 victory. Both teams showcased exceptional defensive prowess and offensive coordination.

Caught Offside squeezed out a win against Ball Snatchers in a thrilling 7-6 encounter. The back-and-forth game demonstrated the competitive spirit and high skill level in the league.

The star player of the week was undoubtedly Philippa Crumpton from Court Queens. Despite her team's narrow loss, Crumpton's performance shone through, proving pivotal in keeping her team competitive throughout the game. Her exceptional play drew applause from both teammates and opponents, earning her the well-deserved title of the most valued player of the week.
