Newport Wednesday night netball - week 3
Goalden Girls beat Block It Like Its Hot' with a score of 16-0. The 'Goalden Girls' have once again proved their mettle. Both teams demonstrating their offensive prowess.
Meanwhile, 'Irreplaceaballs' kept their momentum going with a 17-1 victory over 'Caught Offside'. Both teams battling hard until the final whistle.
However, the highlight of the week came in the nail-biting clash between 'FireBallz' and 'Court Queens'. After a heated exchange of goals, 'Court Queens' managed to eke out a one goal victory, winning 10-9.
'Jump! Jump!' and 'Ball Snatchers' had an equally challenging match, with Jump! Jump! narrowly winning 7-6. Their victory was significantly marked by an outstanding performance from player Cathy Vincent, who was named the most valued player of the week. Her incredible skill, agility and tireless efforts were instrumental in leading her team to victory.
As we move into the fourth week, the stakes get higher and the competition gets tougher. With the teams set on making their mark in league, we can only anticipate more thrilling matches and standout performances.
