In week three of the Newport Wednesday Netball League, the league teams delivered another evening of competitive, high-energy netball. Goalden Girls edged out Court Queens in a tight 15–13 win, while Jump! Jump! turned in a dominant performance to beat FireBallz 18–3.

A standout moment of the night came from Sarah Armstrong-Barnes of Ball Snatchers, who was named the most valued player of the week. Her pace, movement and accuracy made a real difference, and her performance was a pleasure to watch.

The league also saw Irreplaceaballs take a 10–3 win over Block It Like It’s Hot. While the result didn’t go their way, Block It Like It’s Hot showed great attitude and plenty of positives to build on in the weeks ahead.

In another close contest, Caught Offside claimed a 4–2 victory against Ball Snatchers in a match that stayed competitive throughout and highlighted the strong standard across the league.

The Newport Wednesday Netball League continues to offer an enjoyable mix of teamwork, determination and great netball. With the season moving forward, teams will be looking to keep improving and pick up important points—so there’s plenty more to look forward to in the coming weeks.
