Newport Wednesday night netball - week 14
Congratulations to Goalden Girls on becoming the winners this season in Newport, also congratulations to Court Queens our runners up. Also a huge well done to Laura Hutchinson from Ball Snatchers on becoming this seasons most valued player.
In the final week of the season, the games were as intense as ever. The Court Queens claimed victory over Caught Offside with a final score of 10-7, both teams demonstrating superior skills and strategy. Meanwhile, the Goalden Girls displayed an outstanding offensive showdown with a 17-4 win over FireBallz.
Irresplaceaballs took to the court against jump! Jump!, Irreslaceaballs managed to secure a victory with an 11 - 6 score line.
However, the most nail-biting game of the night must be awarded to Block It Like Its Hot and Ball Snatchers which ended in a dramatic 4-4 draw. The level of skill, determination, and teamwork on display was truly exceptional.
The icing on the cake for this season's finale was the crowning of the Goalden Girls as the winners of the league. With an impressive 11 wins and a total of 22 points, they proved themselves to be a formidable force on the court, demonstrating a perfect blend of raw talent, teamwork, and tactical brilliance. Also a big shout out goes to the Goalden Girls supporters on the final evening of the season.
Congratulations to all the teams for an outstanding season of netball. The passion, skill, and sportsmanship on display every week made this season one of the most exciting yet. It's been a thrilling ride, and we can't wait for what the next season has in store!
