FireBallz claimed a 9-4 victory against the Ball Snatchers in the inaugural week of the season. In another high-scoring encounter, Block It Like Its Hot took a 12-6 win over Caught Offside. All teams showcasing exceptional netball skills and fantastic sportsmanship.

Goalden Girls also had a strong start to the season, Beating  Jump! Jump! with an 8-2 score line. Meanwhile, in a tight match, Thou Shalt Not Pass narrowly beat the Court Queens in a narrow 7-5 game.

Despite the defeat, Caught Offside had a reason to smile as their star player, Kayleigh Handley, was named the most valued player of the week. Handley's performance was a beacon of hope for her team, showcasing a level of skill and commitment that made her stand out from the crowd.
