Newport Wednesday Netball League - Week 11

The 11th week of social netball at Burton Borough School brought with it an atmosphere of camaraderie and friendly competition. The welcoming environment was abuzz with players of varying experience levels, all finding enjoyment in the spirit of the game. The air was filled with laughter, cheers, and the satisfying sound of balls swooshing through the net.

In the first match of the evening, FireBallz and Ball Snatchers showcased a stunning display of teamwork and sportsmanship. The FireBallz finished the game with a score of 6-2. Despite the score difference, both teams played with a positive energy that was contagious, making it an enjoyable game for all.

Block It Like It's Hot and Caught Offside gave the spectators an adrenaline-pumping game with their game ending in an exciting 11-10 finish. The commitment and dedication of both teams towards the game were evident in their every move on court.

The match between Goalden Girls and Jump! Jump! was another highlight of the evening. The Goalden Girls rounded off the game with a score of 15-6. Whether it was their movement on the court or their cheers for each other, the spirit they showcased was truly commendable.

Court Queens and Irreplaceaballs played a fantastic game with a score of 17-6 in favor of Court Queens. The game was played in great spirit and was a joy to watch.

A special mention goes out to the Most Valued Player of the week, Britanie Raybould from Irreplaceaballs. Britanie's positive contribution to the game was appreciated by teammates and opponents alike. Her infectious enthusiasm and exceptional movement around the court were a testament to her love for the sport.

Looking ahead, we are thrilled for Week 12 and another evening of social netball. As we continue to keep active, meet new people, and enhance our netball skills, we maintain our commitment to fostering a supportive community.
