Play in the Buckingham Sunday You Play Netball League!
Reminder: we are back on at our usual venue Buckingham School this week!
In the thrilling world of Buckingham Sunday Netball league, Week 3 of the season saw some high-octane action on the court. The League division saw an impressive evening of netball as teams battled it out, displaying a spectacular show of grit, agility, and teamwork.
The league took a jolting start with an incredibly nail-biting match between Netbusters and Bib It Like Beckham. The Netbusters emerged victorious with a slim margin of one goal, ending the game with a score of 7-6. The match was a true testament to the competitive spirit of the game, with both teams pushing their boundaries and giving it their all.
Next up, Netball Ninjas demonstrated a talented performance, winning against Throwbacks with a resounding scoreline of 20-4. The Ninjas put up an impressive offensive performance, proving their prowess in the league and making a solid statement with their decisive victory.
In the final match of the evening, Court Up proved their mettle against Catch 22. The match ended at 15-9 favouring Court Up, but not before exhibiting some of the finest netball plays of the evening.
Among the individual performances, Lucy Exley from Catch 22 distinguished herself as the most valued player of the week. Despite her team's loss, her commendable performance on the court won her accolades and admiration from the league and fans alike.
This week's games reflected the true essence of netball – a perfect blend of competitive spirit, teamwork, and individual brilliance. As the league moves into its 4th week, the teams are expected to come back stronger, making the Buckingham Sunday Netball league a spectacle to watch.
