Play in the Buckingham Sunday You Play netball league
Week eight of the Buckingham Sunday netball league saw teams take to the court with enthusiasm as the season begins to approach its final stages. With plenty of effort, teamwork and positive play on show, it was another enjoyable week of fixtures.
There were several engaging matches across the league. Netball Ninjas produced a strong performance against Bib It Like Beckham, coming away with a 26–3 win. The Ninjas worked well together throughout the game, showing confident passing and solid defending. Despite the result, Bib It Like Beckham had plenty to be proud of, with Tracey Stanton named the most valued player of the week thanks to her energy, movement and reading of the game.
Court Up faced Netbusters in another well-fought match, with Netbusters securing a 21–4 victory. Both teams showed commitment on court, with Netbusters’ teamwork and consistency helping them build their score steadily across the game.
Catch 22 and The Throwbacks shared a closely contested fixture, with Catch 22 edging ahead to take a 6–3 win. Both sides battled hard throughout, making it an enjoyable game that stayed competitive until the final whistle.
With just two weeks remaining in the season, teams are continuing to focus on finishing strongly while enjoying their time on court. The atmosphere around the league remains positive, and there is plenty of anticipation for the final round of matches.
There is still lots to look forward to in the Buckingham Sunday netball league, with every game offering chances for players to showcase their skills and teamwork.
