Yate Thursday YouPlay Netball League News 2026-01-08

Thursday night in Yate was packed with energy, laughs, and plenty of great netball as we rolled into Week 14 of the season. The Premier League teams brought their enthusiasm to the court, making it another enjoyable evening of sport and teamwork.

A great game for 2Steppin who played brilliantly in their first week in the league!

The Courters had a great run against The Shot Hit The Fan, working together smoothly to take a 13–3 win. Their passing and movement kept things flowing and made for a fun match to watch.

Goal Diggas also had a strong night, putting on a confident performance against Absolute Ballers with a 20–6 scoreline. Both teams brought plenty of spirit to the court, with Goal Diggas finding their rhythm and finishing the night as the highest scorers in the division.

Netball Knockouts enjoyed a positive game against Nothing But Net, coming away with a 19–4 result. There was lots of hustle, teamwork, and encouragement throughout the match.

Munch Bunch rounded off the evening with a 7–2 win over In It To Win It, showing great communication and teamwork from start to finish.

A special shout-out goes to Chantelle Broad from Nothing But Net, who was named Player of the Week. Her energy, skill, and positive attitude on court really stood out and summed up what the league is all about.

With Week 15 just around the corner, the Yate Thursday 7-a-side Netball League continues to be a brilliant mix of sport, socialising, and friendly competition. We can’t wait to see what next week brings!
