Yate Thursday Youplay Netball League News 2025-12-18

Week 13 of the Yate Thursday 7-a-side Netball League brought another great evening of netball, with Premier League teams taking to the court to enjoy some fast-paced games and plenty of team spirit. With the season well underway, it was all about getting together, playing good netball, and making the most of a Thursday night on court.

Goal Diggas and Munch Bunch got things started, with Goal Diggas finding their flow early and finishing the match 10–4. Both teams showed some lovely passages of play, with quick movement and confident shooting keeping the game enjoyable from start to finish.

The Shot Hit The Fan took on In It To Win It in the next match, coming away with a 10–1 win. Despite the scoreline, there was plenty of effort and energy from both sides, with strong defence and teamwork on display throughout the game.

The highest-scoring match of the evening saw Courters enjoy a lively contest against Absolute Ballers, finishing 18–6. The Courters worked well together and kept the momentum going, making it an entertaining match to watch.

A special mention goes to Linda Pearce from In It To Win It, who was named Most Valued Player of the week. Linda’s positivity, determination, and all-round play stood out and were a great example of the spirit of the league.

Courters finished the week as the top scorers with 18 goals, rounding off a fun night of Premier League action. With more fixtures still to come, the Yate Thursday league continues to offer a brilliant mix of social netball, friendly competition, and great company.
