Yate Thursday Youplay Netball League 2025-12-04

Sports enthusiasts and netball fans enjoyed another lively week in the Yate Thursday Netball League. Now in its 11th week, the league continues to bring the community together with fun, fast-paced matches that keep everyone cheering from the sidelines. The Premier League division was full of great energy, with teams putting on some fantastic displays of teamwork and effort.

One of the evening’s standout games saw Goal Diggas and Court Jesters share an exciting back-and-forth contest, with Goal Diggas finishing 10–7 ahead. Both teams showed great spirit, with plenty of determined play and supportive team moments throughout.

The Netball Knockouts were in excellent form as they met The Shot Hit The Fan, finishing the match 15–1. The Knockouts’ smooth passing and solid teamwork made for enjoyable viewing, while The Shot Hit The Fan continued to show great perseverance and togetherness on court.

Courters brought a strong performance into their 11–1 match against In It To Win It, playing with pace and coordination. In It To Win It stayed committed right to the final whistle, keeping the game upbeat and positive.

In one of the closest games of the week, Absolute Ballers and Nothing But Net treated spectators to a fun, competitive encounter, with the Ballers edging ahead 9–6. Both sides demonstrated great attacking play and supportive team dynamics.

This week highlighted the friendly but passionate atmosphere that makes the Yate Thursday Netball League so enjoyable. Every team showed enthusiasm, teamwork, and a great love for the sport. With only a few weeks left in the season, there’s plenty more to look forward to!
