Yate Thursday Social Netball Update 28th August
In an exhilarating week 5 of the Yate Thursday social Netball League, the clubs in the Premier League division put on a spectacle that had everyone on the edge of their seats. The hotly contested matches produced some breath-taking netball, affirming the division's reputation for high-octane action.
Dynamic performances were aplenty as the Munch Bunch defeated their In It To Win It with a resounding 16-1 victory. The Munch Bunch's exceptional offensive performance proved too much for their rivals, securing their place as one of the top scorers this week.
The Netball Knockouts also showcased their prowess with an 11-3 triumph over Court Jesters, securing their position as one of the week's highest scorers. Their relentless attack and formidable defence left the Court Jesters struggling to find their rhythm, contributing to one of the most exciting games of the week.
Cre-YATE-ors showed an impressive offensive display, leading them to a 25-2 victory over The Shot Hit The Fan. This remarkable result places them as the week's top scorers and proves that they're a force to be reckoned with.
However, the week belonged to Absolute Ballers, despite their 12-6 loss to Courters. Their player, Danielle Chambers, shined brightest amongst the stars, earning her the title of Most Valued Player of the week. Chambers' performance was a masterclass in netball, demonstrating exceptional skill, technique, and an unyielding will to win.
