Play in the Bridgnorth Tuesday You Play Netball League

Week 8 of the Bridgnorth Tuesday You Play Netball League at Bridgnorth Endowed Leisure Centre saw another evening of social netball, with four teams taking to the court across two fixtures. Both games were played in a friendly spirit, with plenty of effort and teamwork from all the players.

The first match saw Time To Shine take on River Splitters. River Splitters finished with 18 goals, while Time To Shine scored 5. River Splitters created a number of scoring opportunities and converted well throughout the game. Time To Shine continued to work hard across the court and showed good commitment throughout the fixture.

The second game was between We Don't Give A Shot and Nets Get Physical. Nets Get Physical finished with 24 goals, while We Don't Give A Shot scored 6. Nets Get Physical made the most of their chances in attack, while We Don't Give A Shot continued to compete and work together throughout the match.

This week's Most Valued Player was Jade Tonks from We Don't Give A Shot. Jade put in a strong performance, showing good movement around the court and making a positive contribution to her team. Her effort and teamwork were recognised with this week's MVP award. Well done, Jade!

League Reminders

A quick reminder to all teams that umpires' decisions must be respected. Our umpires are there to officiate the games and their decisions should be accepted without argument.

All players taking part in the league must be registered to a team. Tactical subbing is not permitted, which means teams should not bring in particular players specifically for certain games or to strengthen the team for a particular fixture. Players should be part of the regular team and play in the spirit in which the league is intended.

This is a Back to Netball league, designed to provide friendly and enjoyable netball for players of different experience levels. We ask all teams to remember this when selecting players and playing their fixtures. The focus should be on enjoying the game, getting active and playing together in a friendly and respectful environment.
