Play in the Bridgnorth Tuesday You Play Netball League

Week 6 of the Bridgnorth Tuesday You Play Netball League took place at Bridgnorth Endowed Leisure Centre, with teams coming together for another enjoyable evening of social netball. Players of different experience levels took to the court for a series of friendly but competitive matches, with plenty of teamwork, effort and positive play on display throughout the evening.

The league games began with Bridge The Gap taking on Time To Shine. Time To Shine secured a 27-5 victory after a strong team performance. They worked well together across the court and made the most of their scoring opportunities throughout the match. Bridge The Gap continued to work hard and remained positive, supporting one another and showing good determination until the final whistle.

The next match saw Pass And Sass face River Splitters. River Splitters came away with a 23-2 win following a confident performance. They showed good movement and communication throughout the game, while Pass And Sass continued to battle and worked hard to create opportunities. Despite the scoreline, both teams played in the friendly spirit of the league and supported one another throughout the match.

The final game of the evening saw Nets Go For A Beer take on Nets Get Physical. Nets Go For A Beer secured a 13-7 victory in the closest match of the evening. Both teams competed well and worked hard in all areas of the court. Nets Get Physical kept the pressure on and remained competitive throughout, while Nets Go For A Beer made the most of their opportunities to secure the win.

Congratulations to this week’s Most Valued Player, N Westhorpe from Pass And Sass. N was recognised for her energy, movement around the court and positive contribution to her team. Her enthusiasm and commitment were appreciated throughout the evening, making her a deserving recipient of the award. Well done, N.

As the league moves into Week 7, teams will be looking forward to another evening of enjoyable netball at Bridgnorth Endowed Leisure Centre. The league continues to provide a welcoming and supportive environment where players can keep active, develop their netball skills, meet new people and enjoy playing in the spirit of Back to Netball.
