Play in the Bridgnorth Tuesday You Play Netball League

Week 5 of the Bridgnorth Tuesday You Play Netball League took place at Bridgnorth Endowed Leisure Centre, with teams returning for another enjoyable evening of social netball. Players of different experience levels came together to take to the court, catch up with teammates and enjoy some friendly competition in a welcoming and supportive environment.

In the league, Pass And Sass faced We Don't Give A Shot in a closely contested game. Both teams worked hard throughout and showed good teamwork as they battled for every point. Pass And Sass secured an 11–9 win, but there was very little between the teams, with both sides making valuable contributions to an entertaining match. The game was played in a positive spirit and was a great example of the friendly competition that the league is all about.

Nets Get Physical played against Shoot, with Nets Get Physical taking the win by 25 points to 1. Despite the scoreline, Shoot continued to work hard and remained positive throughout the game. Both teams showed commitment on court and supported one another from start to finish. The match was played in good spirits, with players continuing to encourage their teammates and enjoy their time on court.

Nets Go For A Beer took on Time To Shine in another competitive game. Time To Shine came away with a 25–15 win after both teams put in a strong performance. There was plenty of movement around the court, with both sides working hard to create opportunities and keep the game flowing. Nets Go For A Beer continued to battle throughout, while Time To Shine made the most of their chances to secure the win.

The final game saw River Splitters play Bridge The Gap. River Splitters finished the match with a 25–8 victory, following a committed team performance. Both teams worked hard throughout the game and showed good support for one another on court. Bridge The Gap continued to give their all until the final whistle, while River Splitters maintained their efforts to secure the points.

A special mention goes to this week’s Most Valued Player, Sophie Billingham from Shoot. Sophie was recognised for her enthusiasm, movement around the court and positive contribution to her team. Her efforts and encouragement were appreciated throughout the evening, and she was a deserving recipient of the award. Well done, Sophie!

Thank you to all the teams who took part during Week 5, as well as the umpires and everyone involved in making the evening run smoothly. It was another enjoyable night of social netball, with plenty of teamwork, encouragement and friendly competition on display.

We now look forward to Week 6 and welcoming everyone back to Bridgnorth Endowed Leisure Centre. Whether teams are aiming to build on their recent performances, develop their skills or simply enjoy a weekly game with friends, we hope everyone continues to play in the friendly and supportive spirit of Back to Netball.
