Play in the Bridgnorth Tuesday Netball League

Week 3 of the Bridgnorth Tuesday Netball League took place at Bridgnorth Endowed Leisure Centre, with another enjoyable evening of social netball. Teams continued to settle into the season, producing competitive matches, plenty of teamwork and some impressive performances across the four fixtures.

The opening game saw River Splitters take on Time To Shine. River Splitters produced a strong performance to secure a 17-11 victory, moving the ball well through the court and making the most of their shooting opportunities. Time To Shine kept working hard throughout the match and showed great determination, creating several chances of their own.

The second fixture featured Nets Get Physical against We Don't Give A Shot. It was a closely contested game, with Nets Get Physical coming away with a 14-11 win. Both teams defended well and battled for every ball, making it an entertaining contest from start to finish.

Next up, Shoot faced Bridge The Gap. Shoot built a steady lead during the match and finished with a 12-7 victory. Bridge The Gap continued to fight throughout the game and worked well as a team, showing plenty of encouraging signs as the season progresses.

The final game of the evening saw Nets Go For A Beer take on Pass And Sass. Nets Go For A Beer put in a confident performance to record a 26-2 win, combining accurate shooting with strong defensive play. Pass And Sass remained positive throughout the match and continued to support one another until the final whistle.

This week's Most Valued Player award goes to Lucy Lunn from Pass And Sass. Lucy was recognised for her excellent effort, movement around the court and positive attitude throughout the evening. Her commitment and encouragement of teammates made her a deserving recipient of this week's award.

With three weeks now complete, the league is beginning to take shape as teams continue to improve with every fixture. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for Week 4, where there will be more opportunities to enjoy competitive, friendly netball, build confidence and continue developing as teams in a fun and supportive environment.
