Bridgnorth Tuesday Social Netball - week 10

Play in the Bridgnorth Tuesday You Play Netball League

Week 10 of the Bridgnorth Tuesday social netball league took place at Bridgnorth Endowed Leisure Centre, with three fixtures on the schedule and plenty of competitive netball throughout the evening. Teams continued to enjoy their regular games, with players of different experience levels taking to the court and competing in a friendly and social environment.

The first game of the evening saw Bridge The Gap take on River Splitters. River Splitters had a strong performance and came away with a 22-8 victory. Bridge The Gap continued to work hard throughout the game, while River Splitters were able to create opportunities and convert their chances to build a comfortable lead. Both teams played the match in a positive spirit and showed good teamwork throughout.

Next up were Time To Shine and Nets Go For A Beer. Time To Shine finished with a 12-4 win after a solid performance across the court. Nets Go For A Beer continued to work hard and kept going throughout the match, while Time To Shine were able to maintain their lead and secure the points.

The final fixture of the evening saw We Don't Give A Shot face Pass And Sass. We Don't Give A Shot finished with a 13-6 victory after another competitive game. Both teams worked hard throughout, with some good passing and movement on display. Pass And Sass continued to put pressure on their opponents, while We Don't Give A Shot managed to create enough opportunities to take the win.

Our Most Valued Player of the week was Jess Morgan from Nets Go For A Beer. Jess put in a strong performance, with her movement around the court, effort and commitment standing out during the game. She continued to work hard for her team and made a positive contribution throughout the evening. Congratulations to Jess on being named this week's MVP.

A reminder to all teams that we ask everyone to respect the decisions made by the umpires during each game. Umpires are there to officiate the match fairly and keep the game running smoothly, and their decisions should be accepted respectfully, even when teams may not always agree with them. Keeping the games friendly and respectful is an important part of the Back to Netball ethos and helps ensure everyone can enjoy their evening.

With Week 10 now complete, the Bridgnorth Tuesday league continues to provide a great opportunity for women to get back into netball, stay active and enjoy regular games alongside other local players. As a Back to Netball social league, the emphasis is on getting involved, enjoying the sport and playing in a friendly and supportive environment.

The league welcomes players with different levels of experience, whether they are returning to netball after a break or are newer to the sport. It is a great way to meet other local players, improve your skills and enjoy a regular evening of netball without the pressure of a highly competitive league.

We look forward to seeing all the teams back at Bridgnorth Endowed Leisure Centre for Week 11 and another evening of social netball.
