NETBALL LEAGUE ROUND-UP: BRIDGNORTH TUESDAY – WEEK 11
The Bridgnorth Tuesday League continued this week with an exciting set of week 11 fixtures, showcasing plenty of teamwork, energy and enjoyment across the court as the league edges closer to its final stages.
In one of the evening’s fixtures, Nets Get Physical picked up a well-earned win against Bridge The Gap, finishing 13–4. The team worked cohesively throughout the match, moving the ball well and taking their chances with confidence.
Another closely contested game saw Nets Go For A Beer take on We Don’t Give A Shot in a match that kept everyone engaged right until the final whistle. Nets Go For A Beer edged ahead with a 12–9 victory after a determined and spirited performance from both sides.
Elsewhere, Time To Shine secured a convincing 13–2 win over No Regrets Just Nets, while Shoot came out on top in a competitive encounter against River Splitters, winning 9–6 in a match full of effort and enthusiasm.
A special mention goes to Amy Fearnall of Bridge The Gap, who was named Most Valued Player of the Week. Amy impressed with her movement, awareness and consistency throughout the game, providing a standout performance and a positive highlight for her team.
