Play in the Bridgnorth Tuesday You Play Netball League
The Bridgnorth Tuesday Netball League began its very first season this week with a fantastic set of opening fixtures. It was a positive and competitive start, with four well-matched games taking place in the League and plenty of encouraging performances across the board.
The first match saw We Don't Give A Shot face Bridge The Gap, ending in a closely contested 10–10 draw. Both teams showed great balance and determination, making it a strong opening game and a promising sign for the season ahead.
In another competitive fixture, Time To Shine secured an 11–9 win over Nets Get Physical after a hard-fought contest. A special mention goes to Dani Gardner of Nets Get Physical, who was named Most Valued Player of the week. Her movement, awareness and teamwork stood out and made a real impact on the game.
Nets Go For A Beer earned a 12–7 win against Shoot, demonstrating steady attacking play and good communication throughout. Meanwhile, River Splitters enjoyed a strong start to their campaign with a 19–1 result against No Regrets Just Nets, recording the highest score of week one in the League.
It has been an exciting and encouraging opening to the Bridgnorth Tuesday Netball League season. With teams already showing great spirit and commitment, there is plenty to look forward to in the coming weeks as combinations build and competition continues.
