Bridgnorth Tuesday Netball League - Week 2

The lights were on last Tuesday evening at the Bridgnorth Endowed Leisure Centre, signalling a warm, enjoyable Week 2 of social netball. The welcoming atmosphere was filled with chatter and laughter as players of various experience levels laced up their trainers, ready to enjoy a great night of netball.

The first match of the evening saw Time To Shine finishing their game with a score of 4 against the 13 netted by Shoot. Despite the score difference, both teams displayed amazing teamwork, commitment and sportsmanship. The energy on the court was infectious, making it an enjoyable game played in the best of spirits.

Next up, Pass And Sass took on Nets Get Physical, with a final score line of 22-6 in favour of Nets Get Physical. Both teams demonstrated a positive energy that was palpable throughout the match. The commitment to fair play and enjoyment of the game shone through every pass and shot made.

We Don`t Give A Shot and River Splitters took to the court next, with the game ending 16-7 in favour of River Splitters. Again, the spirit of the game was the real winner with both teams showcasing their teamwork and commitment, making a truly enjoyable match for all.

Finally, Bridge The Gap and Nets Go For A Beer played a close game that ended 11-8, with Bridge The Gap finishing ahead. The game was a great example of sportsmanship and positive energy, with everyone on court enjoying themselves immensely.

A special mention must go to the Most Valued Player of the week, Charlie Whitehouse from Pass And Sass. His enthusiasm and movement around the court stood out, and his positive contribution did not go unnoticed by teammates and opponents alike. Well done, Charlie!

Looking ahead to Week 3, we are excited for another evening of friendly social netball. It's a great opportunity to stay active, meet new people, and hone those netball skills in a supportive environment. So dust off those trainers and let's get back to netball!
