Brackley Thursday Social Netball - Weekly update
We are aware a couple of the teams are short on players that we are currently trying to fill, we are actively working on topping teams up but sometimes this can be a little bit slower than we would like it to be. If any teams wish to share the love of the league to their facebook friends then please feel free to do so.
Match Report
It was a thrilling second week of the Brackley Thursday Social Netball League, which saw electrifying play from all teams, and one player, in particular, made an indelible impression.
There were some exceptional performances during the night. Phoenix emerged as the highest scoring team of the night, beating Lashes And Passes with a staggering 18-2 win. Their overall form and impenetrable defence left little room for Lashes And Passes to make any headway.
Not to be outdone, Here For The Night Out delivered a dazzling performance and secured a convincing victory over Pass It Like Its Hot, ending the match with a solid 14-5 lead. Their tactical prowess and on court agility proved too much for their opponents.
The real nail-biter, however, came from the face-off between Title Chasers and Pivot Point. In an edge-of-the-seat battle, Title Chasers eased out a narrow victory, edging past Pivot Point 13-12.
This week, the league's most valued player was none other than Becca Houseago from Title Chasers. Houseago's performance was the talk of the night, as she displayed remarkable skill and precision. Her contribution was instrumental in securing the narrow win for Title Chasers, and her efforts did not go unrecognised.
This thrilling week sets the stage for an exciting season ahead. As teams jostle for the top spot. As the season progresses, it remains to be seen who will rise to the challenge and lead their teams to victory.
