In the recent fixtures of the Brackley Thursday Social Netball League held at Magdalen College, all teams once again gathered for an evening of spirited competition and camaraderie. The matches unfolded smoothly, with teams showcasing their skills and sportsmanship throughout.

The first match of the evening saw Phoenix take on Lashes And Passes, where Phoenix delivered a 32 - 0 victory. Despite the outcome, Gloria Siaw from Lashes And Passes was recognised as the Player of the Match for her exceptional contributions on the court. It was quite obvious that the players from Phoenix have played more recently than Lashes but with the effort and determination that Lashes displayed, it won`t be long until they find their feet.

Another thrilling encounter of the night occurred between Here For The Night and Pass It Like Its Hot. In an end-to-end battle, Pass It Like Its Hot emerged victorious with a narrow 10-9 win. Laura Targett's outstanding performance earned her the Player of the Match award, highlighting her crucial role in securing the hard-fought victory.

Additionally, Title Chasers faced off against Pivot Point in a competitive match characterised by determination and perseverance. Despite Pivot Point's efforts, Title Chasers secured a 21-10 victory. Rachel Collier's relentless commitment on the court earned her the Player of the Match award, reflecting her team's resilience throughout the game.

As the league progresses, Phoenix and Pass It Like Its Hot currently lead the division with two wins out of two matches, showcasing their early dominance in the competition. However, with several fixtures remaining, other teams remain determined to challenge for the top positions and make their mark on the league standings.
