After a riveting fifth week of the Bridgend Sunday Netball League, the competition in both Division 1 and Division 2 has intensified. Onlookers were treated to some high-stakes netball with teams battling it out on the court, demonstrating their skill, tenacity, and team spirit.

In Division 1, Wangerz delivered a remarkable performance, emerging victorious with a score of 22 against a spirited All Sorts team who managed 14 points. Hoops I Did It Again showed off their defensive prowess, completely shutting out T Birds with a 5-0 victory. However, the highlight of Division 1 undoubtedly was the Pink Ladies, who dominated their game against Netty Betties with an impressive score of 33 to 7.

Moving to Division 2, Clover Catchers and Pink Panthers faced off in a tightly contested match ending in a 5-0 win for Clover Catchers. The match between Cougars and Nets Go, on the other hand, ended in a rare deadlock, with neither team able to score.

The star of the week was none other than Sophie Williams of the Netball Ninjas. Her exceptional on-court performances have not gone unnoticed, and her contribution to her team's success has been profound.

As the league progresses, the competition in both divisions is heating up. The top scorers this week, Wangerz for Division 1 and Clover Catchers for Division 2, have set a high standard for the remaining matches, keeping their rivals on their toes.
