In a thrilling display of agility and teamwork, the Bridgend Sunday Netball League entered its second week, with teams from Division 1 and 2 battling it out for supremacy in this hotly contested competition.
In Division 1, the night saw some astonishing results. T Birds outshone Wangerz in a nail-biting match, finishing it off at 22-17. The Pink Ladies demonstrated some impressive offensive play against Hoops I Did It Again, winning with a commanding 23-8, a testament to their tactical prowess and sharp shooting. However, the spotlight in Division 1 was firmly on All Sorts, who obliterated their opponents, Netty Betties, with a staggering 33-3 win, marking them as the top scorers in the division.
Division 2 was no less thrilling. The encounter between Pink Panthers and Netball Ninjas ended 19-13 in favor of the Ninjas, who showcased a solid defensive strategy. High Hoops and Nets Go gave spectators a tight and tense match, with Nets Go scraping a victory with a narrow 8-7 win. The Cougars roared their dominance in the division by trouncing the Clover Catchers 34-5, thereby grabbing the title of top scorers for Division 2.
The highlight of the week undoubtedly was the breathtaking performance by Ffion John of the Netball Ninjas, who was named the Most Valued Player of the week. John's exceptional skills, leadership, and crucial plays were instrumental in the Ninja's victory, making her a standout in this week's league.
