In an electrifying night of Netball, the Bridgend Sunday League witnessed a wave of energy, skill and competitive spirit in Week 8 of the season. Only two weeks remain, promising riveting action as teams vie to secure their place for the next season.

In Division 1, the Pink Ladies showcased their formidable prowess by outwitting Wangerz with an impressive score of 23-10. The game was a riveting spectacle that displayed the skillfully cohesive playing style of the Pink Ladies. In the next match, Cougars roared to victory against the Netball Ninjas, securing the game at 21-10. Both winning teams demonstrated that even in the face of stiff competition, consistent teamwork and strategy prevail.

As the action trickled down to Division 2, Clover Catchers faced a tough encounter against Netty Betties, with the latter emerging as winners at 19-9. Pink Panthers too fell short against Nets Go as they succumbed to a 9-18 defeat. The most thrilling match of the evening, however, involved High Hoops and Hoops I Did It Again, with the latter taking home the victory with 11-3.

The highlight of the night was the exceptional performance by Sophie Tinson of T Birds. As the most valued player of the week, her incredible agility, precision, and athletic ability offered a spectacular display of netball at its finest.

As the season nears its conclusion, all eyes are on the top scorers. In Division 1, the Pink Ladies and Cougars maintain their strong lead. Meanwhile, in Division 2, Nets Go and Hoops I Did It Again are in a neck-to-neck race for the top spot.
