In the exhilarating world of netball, Bridgend Sunday league continues to thrill fans with heart-stopping matches that leave spectators on the edge of their seats. With week five wrapping up, the game has been reshaped, rivalries have been stirred, and new heroes have been crowned.

In Division 1, powerhouses battled it out on the court with the Pink Ladies serving a masterclass performance against All Sorts, winning with a clean sheet of 5-0. Netball Ninjas and T Birds also provided a riveting spectacle, with the former eking out a victory in a tight contest ending 23-20. However, the game of the week was between the Cougars and Wangerz. The Cougars fell short despite a heroic performance by the most valued player of the week - Nicola Baker, with Wangerz taking the match 12-8.

Meanwhile, in Division 2, Nets Go put on a commanding performance, emerging victorious over Clover Catchers with a stunning 21-2 score. Hoops I Did It Again followed suit, overpowering Netty Betties 25-7. High Hoops couldn't keep up the momentum, going down 21-9 against a resurgent Pink Panthers.

Nicola Baker of the Cougars stood out amongst all, exhibiting exceptional skill and showcasing why netball is the epitome of team sport. Nicola's performance was highlighted by her precision, agility, and relentless drive, earning her the much-deserved title of Most Valued Player for the week.
