In an exhilarating display of skill and endurance, Bridgend Sunday’s week 10 of the Netball league was nothing short of spectacular. The thrilling showdowns took place across two divisions, the Premier League and Division 1.
In the Premier League, the tension was palpable as teams battled for supremacy. In a surprising turn of events, All Sorts dominated the Cougars, securing a tight 5-0 victory. Netball Ninjas, meanwhile, displayed their prowess with an impressive 30-3 trouncing of Clover Catchers. The Pink Ladies demonstrated their strengths in an unopposed 5-0 triumph over Wangerz. However, the real spectacle of the night was the electrifying match between the Pink Panthers and T Birds, with the latter soaring to victory with a 38-11 win.
Shifting over to Division 1, the competition was equally fierce. Netty Betties narrowly edged out High Hoops in a 6-4 finish, while Nets Go outpaced Hoops I Did It Again with a tight 8-6 victory.
The standout performance of the week came from Nets Go's Amy Treagus, who was named the most valued player. Her performance on the court was not only pivotal for her team's victory but also underscored her stellar skills and on-court leadership.
The top scorers for each division were the Netball Ninjas in the Premier League with an astonishing 30 goals and Nets Go in Division 1, with their hard-fought 8 goals.
