It was a great night of netball as we welcomed FOUR new teams into the league creating a new division until the end of the season.
In the illustrious Premier League, the T Birds soared to victory against All Sorts with a score of 24-15, while the Pink Panthers were unfortunately unable to make their mark on the scoreboard, as the determined Wangerz triumphed 5-0. The Pink Ladies showed their dominance with an impressive 27-0 victory over Clover Catchers, and the Netball Ninjas demonstrated their agility and precision to close out the evening with a 33-9 win over Cougars.
Over in Division 1, the energy was just as high. Nets Go and A Little Rusty clashed, with A Little Rusty coming out on top 17-8. In another match-up, Hoops I Did It Again didn't just do it again, they did it exceptionally well, securing a 17-2 victory over High Hoops.
A standout from the flurry of games was Kylie Walters of A Little Rusty, who was deservedly crowned the Most Valued Player of the Week. Walters had an exceptional game, showing not only skill but also a deep understanding of the game, proving instrumental in her team's victory.
For the Premier League, the top scorers of the week were the Pink Ladies, while in Division 1, the honor goes to Hoops I Did It Again. This week's games have certainly set the stage for a thrilling next round of matches, and all eyes will be on the courts as the season continues.
