Headlines echoed around Bridgend as Week 6 delivered exciting matches and strong performances across both divisions. Teams from Division 1 and Division 2 showcased great teamwork and determination, building momentum as the season moves toward its later stages.
In Division 1, the Pink Ladies delivered a confident performance to secure a 24–19 win over Hoops I Did It Again. Both teams showed excellent movement and consistency throughout the match, with the Pink Ladies finding an extra edge in the closing stages.
Another Division 1 fixture saw the T Birds take on the Wangerz in an entertaining contest. Both sides displayed strong attacking play, with the Wangerz edging ahead to take a 27–22 victory after a well-matched game.
Over in Division 2, High Hoops claimed a 5–0 win against Nets Go, demonstrating solid organisation and teamwork throughout the match. In the evening’s other Division 2 game, Netball Ninjas put together an impressive performance to secure a 22–7 win over the Pink Panthers.
The standout moment of the week came from Kylie Walters of the Netty Betties, whose outstanding contribution helped guide her team to victory and earned her the Week 6 Most Valued Player award. Her consistency and commitment on court made her a deserving recipient of the accolade.
