In a display of thrilling athleticism and strategy, the Bridgend Sunday Netball League rolled into its third week, revealing some unexpected turns and incredible performances. The evening was marked by vigorous competition across both Division 1 and Division 2.
In Division 1, the T Birds played above All Sorts in a stirring battle, winning the match with an impressive 25-13 score. Not far behind, Pink Ladies showed their mettle against Wangerz, clinching a victory with a 30-13 score. The most nail-biting match of the division, however, was the Netball Ninjas versus the Cougars, where the Cougars snatched a victory with a 10-6 score.
Over in Division 2, the Clover Catchers played the Netty Betties to win the match at 26-7. However, the most thrilling encounter was between Nets Go and Pink Panthers, where Nets Go edged out a 20-17 victory in a breathtakingly close match. Hoops I Did It Again, however, recorded a victory against High Hoops at 17-3.
The spotlight of the week was stolen by none other than Jade Bird from Hoops I Did It Again. Delivering an astonishing performance, Bird was named the most valued player of the week.
As we move into week 4, the league standings could not be any more exciting. One thing is certain: the Bridgend Sunday Netball League continues to offer thrilling netball action week after week. We can hardly wait to see what the next round of games brings!
