Bridgend Sunday Netball Update - Week 7

All the latest news from your local Social Netball League at Brackla Sports Centre.

It was another fantastic evening of netball in Bridgend as teams returned to the courts for week seven of the Sunday league. The atmosphere was full of energy, with players enjoying some great games, teamwork and plenty of support from the sidelines.

Hoops I Did It Again and Netball Ninjas played out an entertaining match, with both teams showing great determination and some lovely passages of play. Netball Ninjas had a strong run during the game and finished with a 22–17 result.

Pink Ladies also took to the court against All Sorts in another enjoyable match. All Sorts found a great rhythm during the game and came away with a 17–5 result, with both teams showing fantastic effort and team spirit throughout.

Elsewhere, High Hoops faced Clover Catchers in a game that saw plenty of great defensive play and teamwork. High Hoops put together some strong passages and finished the match 8–2.

Netty Betties and Pink Panthers also produced a fun and energetic game, with both teams keeping the pace high. Netty Betties finished with a 17–11 result after some great shooting and teamwork.

This week’s Most Valued Player goes to Zoe Thomas from All Sorts, who delivered a brilliant performance on court. Zoe’s movement, accuracy and all-round play made a real difference during the game and earned her well-deserved recognition.

It’s great to see so many teams enjoying their netball each week and creating such a positive and welcoming atmosphere at the league. With plenty more games still to come, we’re looking forward to more fun evenings of social netball in the weeks ahead.
