Bridgend Sunday Netball Update - Week 3

All the latest news from your local Social Netball league at Brackla Sports Centre.

Week three of the Bridgend Sunday Netball League brought another fun-filled evening of netball, with plenty of teamwork, encouragement and positive energy across both divisions.

In Division 1, All Sorts enjoyed a good game against Netball Ninjas, finishing 5–0. Pink Ladies and Wangerz shared an entertaining match, ending 16–12, with some great passages of play and supportive sideline cheers throughout. Hoops I Did It Again and Cougars also took to the court, finishing 36–10 in a lively game with lots of confident shooting on display.

Over in Division 2, Pink Panthers had a strong outing against Nets Go, finishing 5–0. Netty Betties and High Hoops played out one of the closest matches of the night, with Netty Betties just edging it 9–8 in a well-balanced and enjoyable contest.

A special mention goes to Cougars’ Kiri Everett, who was named Most Valued Player this week. Her effort, movement and positive attitude on court really stood out and were a credit to her team.

It’s been great to see so much enthusiasm and sportsmanship from all teams as the season gets underway.
