In the world of Netball, the week 2 of the Bridgend Sunday League showcased an exciting turn of events. The matches in both Division 1 and Division 2 were filled with energy, teamwork, and a high level of competition.
In Division 1, Wangerz and All Sorts gave the spectators a nail-biting match, with Wangerz emerging victorious with a narrow margin of 16-15. This match was a testament to both teams' grit and determination, making it an exhilarating watch. The clash between Hoops I Did It Again and Pink Ladies was also a thrilling affair. Hoops I Did It Again managed to establish their dominance on the court, scoring a 21-15 victory. The Netball Ninjas showed their prowess in their match against Cougars, taking home a win of 21-8.
Division 2 was no less competitive. High Hoops and Nets Go engaged in an exciting encounter, with Nets Go outscoring their opponents 14-4. Clover Catchers and Netty Betties had a low-scoring duel, with Netty Betties emerging victorious scoring 4-1.
The most valued player of the week honor was awarded to Lola Packman from Wangerz. Her performance was awe-inspiring and contributed significantly to her team's victory. Her agility, strategic play and scoring acumen set her apart from the rest, making her a worthy recipient of this prestigious accolade.
