Play in the Walsall Sunday Netball league powered by You Play Netball

A delightful evening was had at Bloxwich Active Living Centre in Walsall this past Sunday, marking the fourth week of our enjoyable social netball season. The welcoming atmosphere pulsed with excitement as players of all experience levels came together, showcasing the true spirit of netball - teamwork, commitment, and positive energy.

The first match of the evening featured Untouchables and Take A Shot, both teams exhibited tremendous commitment and sportsmanship. The Untouchables finished the game with an impressive score of 22-10. Despite the scoreline, both teams displayed strong teamwork and an enjoyable game was played in great spirit.

Meanwhile, in a close encounter, the Bloxwich Ballers and Goal Diggers faced off in an exciting match that exemplified the positive energy that social netball brings. The Bloxwich Ballers ended the game with a narrow win of 13-11. Both teams displayed a commendable spirit of camaraderie, reflecting the essence of social netball.

In the third match, Walsall Wonders and Spice Goals showcased the core of what social netball is all about. Walsall Wonders concluded the game with a score of 18-5. The game was played in a harmonious atmosphere, and the experience was truly enjoyable for all.

The final match between All About That Pass and Bloxwich Divas saw some stunning movements around the court, with Bloxwich Divas finishing the game with a well-earned score of 24-4. Both teams showed a strong sense of mutual respect, making the match a joy to watch.

A special mention must be made for Shannakay Edwards from Take A Shot, who was crowned the Most Valued Player of the week. Her enthusiasm and movement around the court made her stand out and her positive contribution was appreciated by both her teammates and opponents alike.

Looking ahead, we are eagerly anticipating Week 5. We welcome everyone back to the Bloxwich Active Living Centre for another evening of friendly social netball, where we will continue to focus on keeping active, meeting new people, and developing our netball skills in a supportive and warm environment.
