Play in the Walsall Sunday Netball league powered by You Play Netball

What an enjoyable evening it was at the Bloxwich Active Living Centre this past Sunday for Week 14 of the social netball season! A welcoming atmosphere filled the venue, with players of all experience levels from the Premier League group relishing a fantastic night of netball.

Our first match was between All About That Pass and Spice Goals. The game ended with All About That Pass recording a score of 18-8. The commitment and sportsmanship from both teams were commendable. With positive energy radiating off the court, it was a joy to see the game being played in such great spirits.

Similarly, the match between Take A Shot and Goal Diggers was an exciting spectacle. Goal Diggers closed the game with a score of 35-4. Both teams demonstrated excellent teamwork and enthusiasm, making the game a celebratory occasion of social netball.

The third game involved the Untouchables and Bloxwich Divas. The former concluded the game with an impressive score of 14-8. The fun and welcoming environment both teams brought to the court was certainly a highlight of the evening.

Walsall Wonders and Bloxwich Ballers played out the final match of the evening. Walsall Wonders celebrated a score of 13-6. Both teams played the game in great spirit, their positive energy and commitment to team play were infectious.

A special mention goes out to the Most Valued Player of the week, Laurie Grundy from Bloxwich Ballers. Laurie’s enthusiasm and movement around the court was awe-inspiring and her positive contribution to the game didn't go unnoticed by teammates and opponents alike.

As we look forward to Week 15, we are excited for another evening of friendly social netball. It is not just about keeping active, but also about meeting new people and developing our netball skills in a supportive environment. The season may be drawing to a close, but the high spirits and camaraderie in our teams remain strong. The team Untouchables have particularly stood out this season and we warmly applaud their efforts. We want to thank everyone for taking part in making this season a great success. Let's keep the ball rolling!
