Week 9 Brings Another Fantastic Evening of Social Netball in Walsall

Last Sunday evening, Bloxwich Active Living Centre was once again filled with excitement, laughter, and camaraderie as Week 9 of the Walsall Sunday Netball League, powered by You Play Netball, took place.

Players of all abilities came together for another enjoyable evening of social netball, creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere both on and off the court. From the first whistle to the final game of the night, the venue was buzzing with encouragement, friendly competition, and plenty of positive energy.

Match Highlights

The evening began with Goal Diggers taking on All About That Pass in a spirited contest. Both teams demonstrated excellent teamwork and commitment throughout the match, showcasing the supportive and inclusive nature of the league.

Next up, Take A Shot faced Bloxwich Ballers in an enjoyable fixture played in great spirit. Players from both teams displayed determination, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm, making for an entertaining game for everyone involved.

The final match of the evening saw Untouchables and Walsall Wonders share the court. Both teams produced an exciting contest, demonstrating impressive teamwork, communication, and dedication while maintaining the friendly atmosphere that makes social netball so enjoyable.

Most Valued Player

A special congratulations goes to Joy Auburn of Bloxwich Divas, who was named this week's Most Valued Player.

Joy's enthusiasm and energy around the court were evident throughout the evening. Her positive attitude, commitment, and encouragement of others made a lasting impression, and her contribution was appreciated by teammates and opponents alike. She truly embodied the spirit of social netball.
