Walsall Sunday Night Netball - Week 12
In yet another thrilling week of the Walsall Sunday Netball league, the League produced some exciting and high scoring performances that had spectators on the edge of their seats. As we head into the final two weeks of the season, last night's games only heightened the anticipation for the grand finale.
In the League the Walsall Stars shone brightest, outshining Blue Phoenix with an impressive score of 18-5. The Stars demonstrated their prowess, securing a commanding victory that solidified their status as a force to be reckoned with.
Not to be outdone, The Pink Panthers showed their claws against the Walsall Wonders, securing a 20-9 win. Their relentless offensive play and defensive tenacity were on full display as they carved their way to another well-deserved victory.
The Bloxwich Divas, meanwhile, taught a lesson in resilience and determination, overcoming a valiant effort by No Pain No Gain, to triumph 17-9.
In the closest match-up of the evening, the Untouchables and Bloxwich Ballers faced off in a nail-biting encounter. Despite a fierce fight, the Ballers managed to edge the Untouchables by a mere point, winning 13-12.
The standout player of the week was Monike Campbell of the Untouchables. Her exceptional performance, despite the narrow team loss, earned her the title of Most Valued Player.
As the season draws to a close, all eyes are on the top scorers within each division. Every goal counts as teams vie for the top spot. With only two weeks left in this thrilling season, remember to secure your place to witness the final face-offs in the next season.
