Kidderminster Tuesday Social Netball - week 5

Kidderminster Tuesday You Play Netball League – Week 5

Week 5 of the Kidderminster Tuesday You Play Netball League took place at Baxter College, with three matches providing another enjoyable evening of social netball. Players took to the courts ready for another week of competitive games, with plenty of teamwork, movement and effort on display throughout the evening.

The first match saw Wingin It take on Shooting Stars in a closely contested game. Shooting Stars came away with an 8-6 victory after a competitive match where both teams worked hard across the court. The two sides created opportunities and defended well, with the narrow scoreline reflecting how closely matched they were. Wingin It continued to challenge until the final whistle, while Shooting Stars did enough to secure the win.

Little Ladies then faced Fire Balls in the second match of the evening. Little Ladies put together a strong performance to secure a 29-2 victory, showing good movement around the court and creating plenty of opportunities in attack. Fire Balls continued to work hard throughout the game and showed good determination, keeping their focus and continuing to compete despite the scoreline. Both teams contributed to an enjoyable match and demonstrated the positive spirit of the league.

The final match of the evening saw Kiss My Pass go head-to-head with The New Team. Kiss My Pass finished with a 13-10 victory after another competitive game. The teams remained close throughout, with both sides working hard to move the ball effectively and create scoring opportunities. The New Team continued to push until the end, while Kiss My Pass held on to secure the three-point victory.

This week's Most Valued Player was recognised for their enthusiasm, movement around the court and positive contribution during the evening. Their commitment and attitude helped make the game enjoyable for those playing alongside them and highlighted the teamwork that is an important part of the league.

With Week 5 now complete, the Kidderminster Tuesday league continues to provide an opportunity for players of different experience levels to enjoy regular netball in a friendly and supportive environment. Whether players are returning to the sport, looking to keep active or simply enjoying a weekly game with friends, the league offers a great way to stay involved and meet other local players.

The league now looks ahead to Week 6, with another evening of netball coming up at Baxter College. We look forward to seeing all the teams back on court and enjoying another round of competitive and social netball.
