Play in the Kidderminster Tuesday You Play Netball League

Week 12 of the Kidderminster Tuesday You Play Netball League took place at Baxter College, with teams returning for another enjoyable evening of social netball. The league continues to provide a welcoming environment for players of all experience levels, giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy the game, meet new people, and be part of a friendly and supportive netball community.

The first match of the evening saw Little Ladies take on Shooting Stars. Both teams took to the court with a positive attitude, showing great teamwork and determination throughout the game. Little Ladies built momentum as the match progressed and finished with a 22-5 victory. Shooting Stars continued to work hard throughout, showing good spirit and commitment right until the final whistle.

Next up, On The Ball faced Fire Balls in another enjoyable contest. Both teams showed good teamwork and played the game in the true spirit of social netball. On The Ball came away with a 20-9 win, but there were plenty of positive moments from both sides, with players supporting each other and enjoying the opportunity to compete.

The third game of the evening saw Pink Panthers go up against The New Team. The match was played in a great atmosphere, with both teams working hard across the court and creating plenty of opportunities. Pink Panthers secured a 15-8 victory, while The New Team continued to show determination and teamwork throughout the game.

The final match of the night saw Wingin It and Hoops I Did It Again compete in a closely contested game. Both teams battled hard from start to finish, with the score remaining tight throughout the match. Wingin It eventually secured a narrow 7-6 win, with both teams demonstrating excellent commitment and a fantastic attitude on court.

This week’s Most Valued Player award was presented to Sue Ross from Hoops I Did It Again. Sue was recognised for her enthusiasm, positive contribution, and hard work throughout the match. Her commitment and encouragement towards teammates and opponents highlighted the friendly and inclusive nature of the league.

As we look ahead to Week 13, we look forward to seeing all teams back at Baxter College for another evening of social netball. The league continues to be a great opportunity for players to enjoy the sport, improve their skills, keep active, and make new friends in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
