Play in the Kidderminster Tuesday Netball League

Week 11 of the Kidderminster Tuesday Netball League took place at Baxter College, with another fantastic evening of social netball. As the season heads towards its final weeks, teams continue to battle for league points while enjoying competitive matches in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

The opening fixture saw Fire Balls take on Kiss My Pass in a closely fought contest. Neither side could find a winning goal, with the match ending in a well-earned 6-6 draw. Both teams defended strongly throughout and created plenty of opportunities in an entertaining game.

The second match featured Goal Diggers against Wingin It. Goal Diggers produced an excellent all-round performance to secure a convincing 22-4 victory. Their accurate shooting and organised defence proved difficult to break down, while Wingin It continued to battle throughout and showed great determination from start to finish.

Next, Hoops I Did It Again faced Pink Panthers in another closely contested fixture. The teams couldn't be separated after an exciting game, finishing with a 13-13 draw. Both sides moved the ball well through the court and produced some excellent passages of play, making it one of the matches of the evening.

The fourth game saw The New Team take on Little Ladies. Little Ladies continued their strong form with an impressive 27-3 victory, combining accurate finishing with excellent teamwork across the court. The New Team kept working hard throughout the game and will take valuable experience into the remaining weeks of the season.

The final match of the evening saw Shooting Stars face On The Ball. It proved to be another competitive contest, with Shooting Stars holding on to claim a 16-13 victory. Both teams matched each other for long periods of the game, creating an exciting finish to another enjoyable night of netball.

This week's Most Valued Player award goes to Harriet Millward from On The Ball. Harriet was recognised for her excellent work rate, movement around the court and consistently positive attitude throughout the evening. Her effort and encouragement of teammates made her a deserving recipient of this week's award.

With just a few weeks of the season remaining, every point is becoming increasingly important as teams look to finish as high up the league table as possible. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for Week 12 and another evening of competitive, friendly netball.
