Tensions and excitement filled the courts of Kidderminster Tuesday as Week 8 of the You Play Netball League unfolded. The matches were full of energy, skill, and friendly competition, keeping spectators engaged throughout the evening.

Hoops I Did It Again, showing impressive talent, were narrowly edged out by Shooting Stars, finishing 15-14. Hollie Bennett from Hoops I Did It Again was named this week’s Most Valued Player, with a performance that truly stood out and set a great example for everyone on the court.

In other matches, A Little Rusty celebrated a solid 13-6 win over Nets Be Having Ya. Goal Diggers and Wingin It also enjoyed strong victories, defeating On The Ball and Pink Panthers 13-9 and 14-9, respectively. Each team showcased strategy, teamwork, and determination, highlighting the league’s friendly but competitive spirit.

Kiss My Pass put in a determined effort but were bested by Little Ladies, finishing 13-7. Even in defeat, their performance was commendable and promises an exciting rematch in future weeks.

Week 8 was a wonderful display of netball at its best, with inspiring teamwork and notable performances, especially from MVP Hollie Bennett.
