Play in the Kidderminster Tuesday You Play Netball league
Week 4 of the Kidderminster Tuesday Netball League delivered another exciting evening of competitive matches, with teams across the League division continuing to show great determination, teamwork, and improvement as the season progresses. Spectators were treated to several closely contested fixtures, plenty of excellent passages of play, and some impressive individual performances throughout the night.
One of the standout games of the evening saw Fire Balls take on Wingin It in a high-energy encounter that kept both teams battling from start to finish. Fire Balls eventually secured a hard-earned 13-10 victory, but the scoreline only tells part of the story in what was a very competitive contest. Both teams moved the ball well around the court and created numerous scoring opportunities, with the intensity remaining high throughout the game. Fire Balls showed excellent communication and composure during key moments to help them edge ahead, while Wingin It can take great encouragement from another strong team performance.
Despite ending on the losing side, Wingin It produced one of the evening’s standout individual displays through Kate Edmonds, who was deservedly named the valued player of the week. Kate impressed with her movement, consistency, and overall influence on the match, making an important contribution for her side across the court.
Goal Diggers also enjoyed a successful evening as they claimed a 12-9 win over Little Ladies in another entertaining fixture. Both teams showed excellent effort and commitment throughout the match, producing an enjoyable contest for everyone watching. Goal Diggers were able to maintain good attacking momentum during crucial periods of the game, while Little Ladies continued to battle hard and remained competitive until the final whistle. The match highlighted the strong team spirit and positive attitude shown throughout the league this season.
Elsewhere, Kiss My Pass secured an impressive 11-6 victory over Pink Panthers. The game featured some well-worked attacking play and determined defensive performances from both sides. Kiss My Pass managed to find a strong rhythm early on and used this momentum to build a lead, while Pink Panthers continued to work tirelessly and showed plenty of resilience throughout the contest.
Week 4 once again highlighted the competitive and welcoming nature of the Kidderminster Tuesday Netball League. Teams continue to develop week by week, with players showing growing confidence and strong teamwork across all fixtures. The league atmosphere remains positive, with plenty of encouragement and support shown both on and off the court.
