It was an exciting start to the Kidderminster Tuesday Netball league, with teams getting the season underway with some great energy and teamwork. The opening week featured a range of competitive matches and positive performances, setting the tone for the weeks ahead.

Fire Balls and Hoops I Did It Again opened the league with a closely contested match. Both teams showed good effort, but Fire Balls came away with a 9–6 win.

Another highlight of the evening was the game between Shooting Stars and Kiss My Pass. Kiss My Pass put in a strong performance to secure a 13–4 victory, although Shooting Stars showed plenty of determination throughout.

Elsewhere, Little Ladies recorded a 13–3 win over Pink Panthers, with a solid team performance and good movement on court.

On The Ball also made a strong start with a 24–4 win over Wingin It. Despite the result, Wingin It’s Akhila Joseph delivered a standout individual performance, earning most valuable player of the week for her effort, skill, and positive attitude.

After the first round of fixtures, On The Ball sit at the top of the league following their strong opening result.

With the first week complete, there’s plenty to look forward to as the season progresses. Teams will be building on their early performances, and it will be interesting to see how the league table develops in the coming weeks.
