Play in the Warwick Monday Netball league

(1) It was a delightful evening at Aylesford School and Sixth Form during Week 9 of the season, where the welcoming atmosphere was glowing as brightly as the court's floodlights. A diverse mix of players, from beginners discovering the joys of the game to seasoned veterans, all came together for a fantastic evening of social netball, showing the true spirit of community and sportsmanship.

(2) The Division 1 group took the court with two talented teams, Warwick Warriors and Shooting Stars. The game was close and exhilarating, with both sides showing incredible teamwork and commitment. In the end, Warwick Warriors finished the game with a score of 16-13. The positive energy from both teams was palpable. Every goal was celebrated, every near-miss met with encouragement, and every player's efforts acknowledged. It was an enjoyable game played in great spirit, demonstrating that while it's nice to win, the real victory lies in participation, fair play, and the camaraderie of the team.

(3) We must give a special mention to the Most Valued Player of the week, Sue Payton from Nutballs. Sue's dynamism and quick movement around the court were a sight to behold. Her enthusiasm was infectious, her positive contribution to the game evident not just to her teammates but to the opponents and spectators as well. She truly embodies the spirit of Back to Netball.

(4) As we look ahead to Week 10 and another evening of friendly social netball, we encourage everyone to remember the joy and satisfaction that come from keeping active, meeting new people, and developing netball skills in a supportive and friendly environment. Win or lose, everyone's a star when they step onto that court. Here's to another week of fantastic netball and fostering friendships on and off the court.
