Warwick Monday Netball Update 23rd February

Excitement filled the air as Warwick Monday netball returned for the start of a new season. It was the opening week of competitive matches, and teams were clearly eager to make a strong start on court.

We saw The A-Team take on Hoops I Did It Again. The A-Team found it difficult to settle early on, while Hoops I Did It Again showed sharp shooting and strong teamwork, earning an impressive 31–5 win.

The next game featured Shooting Stars against Nets Get Physical. It was a closely contested match, with Nets Get Physical eventually taking the win, 17–11, after a competitive and spirited performance from both sides.

Warwick Warriors faced Hands On The Ball!. Despite a determined effort from the Warriors, Hands On The Ball! delivered a confident performance to secure a 17–6 victory. Their composed and effective play set a positive tone for the rest of the night.

Although The A-Team were unable to secure a victory, the standout player of the week was Caroline Jones, whose skill, determination and consistency on court earned her the well-deserved title of Most Valued Player.

With the season now underway, teams are already demonstrating great enthusiasm and competitive spirit. Hoops I Did It Again finished the week as the highest scorers, making an early impression. However, with many matches still to come, there is plenty of opportunity for the standings to change.

With the opening week complete, anticipation is already building for the next round of fixtures. The Warwick Monday netball season promises many more exciting and competitive moments in the weeks ahead.
