Play in the Aylesbury Tuesday Netball League

Another enjoyable evening of netball took place in the Aylesbury Tuesday Netball League, with teams coming together for a night of competitive but friendly action as part of the Back to Netball programme.

The League division featured some closely contested matches, with every team showing great commitment, teamwork, and enthusiasm throughout the evening. The A Team, Chafing The Dream, Ball Of Fame, Pivots, BucksBaddies, Net Tastics, Girls On Fire, and Court Queens all took to the court and produced strong performances, with players continuing to develop their skills and confidence each week.

A special congratulations goes to Nicola Pearce of Court Queens, who was named Player of the Session. Nicola's positive attitude, support for her teammates, and consistent effort throughout the evening made her a deserving recipient of the award.

There were plenty of goals scored across the night's fixtures, with The A Team and Ball Of Fame finishing as the highest-scoring teams of the session. Both sides moved the ball well and made the most of their opportunities in front of goal, but every team played their part in producing an entertaining evening of netball.

One of the key strengths of the Aylesbury Tuesday Netball League continues to be the welcoming and supportive atmosphere created by all players. Whether returning to the sport after a break or playing regularly each week, participants are able to enjoy competitive matches while improving their fitness and meeting new people.

The Back to Netball programme is designed to make netball accessible and enjoyable for players of all abilities, and Tuesday's session was another excellent example of that. Strong teamwork, encouraging communication, and plenty of determination were on display throughout the evening, helping to make the matches both enjoyable and rewarding for everyone involved.

Well done to all teams who took part, and congratulations once again to Nicola Pearce on being named Player of the Session. We look forward to another great evening of netball next week.
