WEEK 6 OF THE AYLESBURY TUESDAY NETBALL LEAGUE

Week six of the Aylesbury Tuesday netball league brought another enjoyable evening of matches, with teams continuing to build confidence and develop their play across the League. The games were closely contested, with plenty of positive moments and teamwork on display throughout the night.

In one of the fixtures, The A Team secured a 12-8 win over Pivots. It was a competitive match, with both sides creating opportunities and showing good movement on court. The A Team managed to maintain their consistency across the game, while Pivots continued to work hard and stay involved throughout.

The A Team also had a standout performer in Lydia Clewlow, who was named Player of the Week. Her all-round contribution and effort on court made a real difference and helped guide her team through a well-earned result.

Elsewhere, Chafing The Dream recorded a 9-6 win against Girls On Fire  . Both teams showed good determination and worked hard for each point, with Chafing the Dream finding a little extra consistency to take the result. Girls on Fire remained competitive and contributed to an engaging game.

Court Queens and Net Tastics played out a closely matched 7-7 draw, with both teams demonstrating strong defensive play and good organisation. It was an evenly balanced contest, with neither side giving much away and both earning a share of the points.

In another fixture, BucksBaddies edged a narrow 12-10 win over Ball Of Fame. It was an exciting and competitive game, with both teams showing positive attacking play and determination right through to the final whistle.

Across the League, there were plenty of encouraging performances, with teams continuing to improve and enjoy their netball each week. The focus remains on teamwork, development, and creating a welcoming and competitive environment for all players.

As the season progresses, there is still plenty to play for, and teams will be looking to build on their performances in the coming weeks. With more closely contested matches ahead, the League promises to continue providing enjoyable and engaging netball.
