Week five of the Aylesbury Tuesday Netball League offered another enjoyable evening of competitive play, with teams continuing to develop their confidence and teamwork on court.

Pivots and Ball Of Fame met in one of the evening’s fixtures, with Ball Of Fame putting together a strong performance to secure a 14–3 win. Their clear communication and well-organised play were key factors, while Pivots showed determination and worked hard throughout the match.

Chafing The Dream faced The A Team in a closely contested game that remained competitive from start to finish. Chafing The Dream edged ahead to claim a 12–9 victory, reflecting their persistence and composure during key moments of the match.

Court Queens took on Girls On Fire in another entertaining fixture, coming away with a 15–7 win. Court Queens combined effective attacking movement with solid defensive work, while Girls On Fire continued to show positive energy and commitment across the court.

This week’s standout player award went to Emma Quartermaine from Girls On Fire. Emma delivered a confident and consistent performance, demonstrating strong leadership and skill despite the result for her team.

With plenty of positive performances across the league, week five highlighted the friendly yet competitive nature of the Aylesbury Tuesday Netball League. As the season progresses, teams will be looking to build on their efforts and enjoy more great netball in the weeks ahead.
