Netball enthusiasts were treated to another exciting and enjoyable round of fixtures in the Aylesbury Tuesday netball league, as week four of the season brought plenty of competitive spirit, teamwork, and encouraging performances across the board. Each match reflected the growing confidence of teams as they continue to settle into the rhythm of the season.

BucksBaddies stood out with a confident 14–4 win over Pivots. Their movement around the court and ability to convert chances helped them build momentum early on, and they maintained that throughout the game. Pivots continued to show effort and determination, gaining valuable experience that will no doubt support them in the coming weeks.

Girls On Fire and Net Tastics played out a closely contested match, with Girls On Fire securing a 9–6 victory. It was a game full of energy, with both teams demonstrating resilience and commitment. Net Tastics pushed hard throughout, while Girls On Fire showed composure at key moments to see the game through.

One of the most exciting matches of the week saw Ball Of Fame face Chafing The Dream in a thrilling encounter. With the scoreline finishing 14–13, it was a game that could have gone either way. Both teams played with great intensity and determination, creating an atmosphere that kept everyone engaged right up until the final whistle.

The A Team also edged a very tight contest against Court Queens, coming away with a 6–5 win. It was a well-matched game, with both sides showing strong defensive work and teamwork. Matches like this highlight the balance and competitiveness across the league.

A special mention this week goes to Sarah Smith from Chafing The Dream, who delivered a truly outstanding performance. Sarah’s influence on the game was clear from start to finish, combining excellent awareness, movement, and decision-making to support her team in both attack and defence. Her ability to stay composed under pressure and make key contributions at important moments played a significant role in such a closely fought victory.

Beyond her technical ability, Sarah’s leadership and positivity on court were equally impressive. She consistently encouraged her teammates, communicated effectively, and helped maintain the team’s focus during crucial stages of the match. It’s no surprise she was named this week’s Most Valued Player, and she will certainly be one to watch as the season continues.
